Contents Anaysis

The picture on the left is the front cover to ths issue of the contents page I have just analysed.  The main difference in identifying HOUSE STYLE is the fact that the colour scheme is totally different on the front page than it is on the contents pages. However, the fonts that are used are all the same including the title on the contents page. The pictures are also very different, the one on the front page has been brightened up whereas the main one on the first contents page looks as if the saturation has been turned down, giving it a pale, dull look as aposed to the bright one on the front cover however all artists are dressed the same in extremely casual clothes such as jeans and a t-shirt. Both pictures are also quite natural. Another feature creating a house style is the fact the strapline has been used on the contents page and also has the exact same font. The colour schemes however is what is distracting from the identified house style, on the front cover, bright colours such as blue and yellow are used but the contents appears   to be mainly black, white and red. Certainly contrasting. However the different colour schemes may also be for creating a more "edgy" scenic look to the magazine.
