Name Ideas

Now that i have altered the genre of my magazine, I have had to reconsider name choices for a magazine. The main influences that have been used for choosing potential names include reading articles of R&B music and artists but mainly listening to songs and listening carefully to the lyrics. The main artists that I chose to listen to included Drake, Lil Wayne, A$AP Rockie, Honey Cocaine, Kanye West, Nicki Minaj and Tyga. These are all very popular R&B rap artists that include vocabulary that is of course, only used in R&B raps. Listening to the lyrics of these artists is probably the best way to gather some ideas for magazine names as the lyrics are unique and because of this, a potential customer should imediately be able to tell what genre the magazine is. If they can not tell the genre of the magazine by seeing the name then the name of the magazine needs to be changed to indicate the genre. From a large selection of names that I chose, These are my favourite selected few.

• UGK (Under Ground King)
